Energy Star Heating & Cooling Replacement Program

If a Meade County RECC member purchases an Energy Star Air-source heat pump, Dual-fuel heat pump or Geothermal heating and cooling system to replace their existing system, the member can receive a rebate as follows:

Energy Star Air-Source Heat Pump: $200
Energy Star Dual-Fuel Heat Pump: $500
Energy Star Geothermal System: $750

Dual-fuel systems heat with electricity until the temperature dips below 35 degrees. Then, an energy-efficient natural gas or propane system kicks in.

Your rebate check will be mailed to the home address Meade County RECC has on file for you. Please allow up to four weeks for processing.

The store invoice must include the following:

• Itemized purchase of an Energy Star Air-source or Dual-fuel heat pump or an Energy Star Geothermal heating and cooling system and Energy Star Certification if not noted on the invoice.
• Meade County RECC Member's name and address.
• Meade County RECC reserves the right to verify equipment installation
